Odeon of Ancient Cassope

The small theatre (or odeon) in Cassope, on the eastern side of the ancient market place, was constructed in the second half of the 3rd century BC, and had a capacity of about 2000 people. Apart from its function for theatrical events, it also was used as a conference building for Kassopi assemblies.
