The access to the county can be achieved by car via the existing national road. The underwater tunnel Aktio –Preveza can assure the faster connection of Aetoloakarnania and southern Greece with the coastline zone of the counties of Preveza – Thesprotia and the Port of Igoumenitsa.

You can also have the chance to make excursions to neighboring counties and cruises to the islands of the Ionian Sea. Departing from the capital of the county, you can visit Arta, Ioannina with many sightseeings, Dodoni, Vikos canyon and Zagorochoria, Lefkada and Paxoi Islands.
